Light Heavy Rain will Fall in Most Jakarta Areas

Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Board (BMKG) predicted light heavy rain will fall in Jakarta today. Citizen should be aware of weather change.

Be aware of heavy rain with lightning and strong wind in East Jakarta and South Jakarta

"Morning, light rain falls in North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, East Jakarta and South Jakarta. While moderate rain in Seribu Islands," mentioned Hary Tirto Djatmiko, Head Division of BMKG's Public Relation, Wednesday (2/7).

Light Moderate Rain Falls in Jakarta Today

In the afternoon, light rain will fall in Seribu Islands, North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, West Jakarta and moderate rain in East Jakarta and South Jakarta.

At night, moderate rain is predicted to fall in North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and West Jakarta. While heavy rain will fall in Seribu Islands, East Jakarta, and South Jakarta. "At dawn, most Jakarta areas will be cloudy with potential of light rain to fall," he informed.

Temperature could reach 23-29 Celsius degree with humidity 75-95 percent. Southwest-northwest wind velocity to reach between 05-30 kilometers per hour.

"Be aware of heavy rain with lightning and strong wind in East Jakarta and South Jakarta between afternoon and night," he stated.
